🟣 2019 - Day One

The photos below are from a very special class. This was our first program, which ran at the end of 2019. A month before the pandemic. Our team, Benjamin Lostheart, Alishanna, and Malik, put together a class based on the vision of a conceptual mission at that time.

We fused Lego Robotics, Hip-Hop beat-making, and Arts and Crafts to engage kids from our collective communities. We used innovative ideas to use music to help us collectively decide our agenda for the day. Then, I used Project Management tools to plan forward.

We brought these concepts together within an already established system, the First Lego League yearly competition. We remixed the curriculum and created something that worked for us! 

This is where we started! Props to Malik and Alishanna for believing the in the vision!
