🟣 2019 - Day One

The photos below are from a very special class. Our first program ran at the end of 2019—a month before the pandemic. Our team, Benjamin Lostheart, Alishanna, and Malik, put together a class based on the vision of a conceptual mission at that time.

We fused Lego Robotics, Hip-Hop beat-making, and Arts and Crafts to engage kids from our collective communities. We used innovative ideas to use music to help us collectively decide our agenda for the day. Then, I used Project Management tools to plan.

We combined these concepts within an established system: the First Lego League yearly competition. We remixed the curriculum and created something that worked for us!

This is where we started! Props to Malik and Alishanna for believing in the vision!
